Steven Fett Architecture, located in downtown Miami, was established in 2005.  The work of the office is diverse, with projects ranging from small to mid-sized custom residential, commercial and civic architecture, to large-scale master plans for neighborhoods and cities in the United States and abroad.  The firm has won important awards including the American Institute of Architects (AIA Miami) Merit Award for the Youth Build Vocational School in Luly, Haiti, the Florida Redevelopment Association’s President's Award, and the American Public Works Association’s, “Public Works Project of the Year” for the built redesign of Commercial Boulevard in downtown Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, Florida, a project co-authored with, Jaime Correa.  Steven was recognized by the Miami New Times as the “Best Architect” in Miami, 2018.

Steven is also a full-time lecturer at the University of Miami, School of Architecture. as well as the Past Director of the School’s Center for Urban and Community Design (CUCD).  He received a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Minnesota, and a Master of Architecture and Master of Urban Design at the University of Miami. Steven is a regular contributor to the School’s Open City Studio, an itinerant urban laboratory that travels to international cities each summer.

In addition, Steven is a founding member of the research and design firm, Monteleone, dedicated to the pursuit of sustainable civic art, a new vision in urbanism and environmentalism.
